The entirety of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.  (Psalms 119:160 NKJV)

Abba Father speaks to us in many different ways through His still, small voice in our inner man, our spirit.  This may be, just to name a few, through His written word, a song, a picture, a butterfly on your shoulder, or perhaps a word through someone in a message.  One of the ways He speaks to me is with words. A specific word will buzz inside me nudging to go digging into His Word for more revelation. This morning the word TRUTH or more specifically His Truth was standing out to me. And my thoughts pondered about His Truth. If we are supposed to speak His Truth, does that mean that speaking the opposite of His Word are lies? For His Word is TRUTH.

Truth is found in His word and HE IS THE Word!  I love the way The Message translations depicts John 1:14.

The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood. We saw the glory with our own eyes, the one-of-a-kind glory, like Father, like Son, Generous inside and out, true from start to finish.  (John 1:14 MSG)

For every word God speaks is sure and every promise pure. His truth is tested, found to be flawless, and ever faithful. It’s as pure as silver refined seven times in a crucible of clay.  (Psalms 12:6 TPT)

The opposite of truth is lies and the father of lies is the enemy of our souls. This started already in the beginning of creation as we read in Genesis, when he lied to Eve about eating the fruit from the Tree of knowledge of good and evil. Yet today, he is still using these same tactics which we fall for time and time again. But you have a choice to put the stake in the ground and to stop falling into this trap!

Beloved, speaking words contrary to the Word of God about yourself to yourself, and over your situation are lies.  These are words the enemy speaks to you and if you decide to partner with these lies, then he has accomplished reaching your soul with an unfruitful seed causing a stronghold to grow over you. But these lies can be demolished with the Word of God! Jesus said on the Cross "It is finished!", and it is finished indeed but only if we act on this word.

You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.  (John 8:44 NKJV)

What words are you speaking over yourself and about yourself? What are you speaking over your situations? Beloved, you have a choice either to eat from the Tree of Life which is the Word of God, or you can choose to eat from the Tree of knowledge of good and evil. I encourage you to speak God's Word over yourself, your identity, your purpose, your destiny, your situation, your marriage, your family, your country and others.

Psalm 119 is the longest Psalm and chapter in the Bible, filled with the law of the Lord. His laws are: His ways, His commandments, His promises, His precepts, His statutes, His ordaninces and His testimonies as we discover in this Psalm. I encourage you to read this Psalm in your own time with Abba Father and to ask Him to reveal the treasures He has hidden in your heart, for your journey. The psalmist, who I think is David, expresses the different emotions and circumstances of his season to Abba Father. He had a hunger for the Word of God and made room for the word in His life. He placed God first in everything and seeked His Face before anything else. He spoke the word over his life and situations, no matter where or what was happening. 

Beloved, I encourage you to choose to speak God's word over you. Do not fall into the same trap by partnering with the lies of the enemy. Yes, you can do it. Yes, you are more than enough. Yes, you have the mind of Christ. Yes, you are the head and not the tail. Beloved Jesus Christ has already paid the price on the Cross of Calvary with His Blood. His Blood washed away all your sins and that includes unfruitful words (e.g. curses, witchcraft etc.) spoken over you. But you have to accept His word as truth, act on it and obey. His Word is your weapon for declaring, praying, warfare and worship.

Speak His Words over you beloved and allow His story to become your story and in return, His testimony becomes your testimony. Matt Beckenham said this so profoundly: "bring His Word as a conversation into your soul and spirit".

The law of the Lord  is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord  is sure, making wise the simple; The statutes of the Lord  are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord  is pure, enlightening the eyes; The fear of the Lord  is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord  are true and righteous altogether.  (Psalms 19:7‭-‬9 NKJV)

Every Scripture has been inspired by the Holy Spirit, the breath of God. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness. Then you will be God’s servant, fully mature and perfectly prepared to fulfill any assignment God gives you.   (2 Timothy 3:16‭-‬17 TPT)
