Something New
Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Saviour], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]. 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 AMP A few weeks ago, I asked Abba what is the word for the new season we are entering into, and I heard NEW CREATION. I had a sense that this referred to everything new about who we are in Jesus Christ and the finished works of The Cross. That we need to step into the ALL of being a new creation and start focusing on this reality of being, new creation, our true identity in Yeshua our Messiah. At sunset 29 September, we entered the new year of 5780 on the Hebraic calendar. We are three months away from stepping into the year 2020 on the Gregorian calendar.
