Clean Hands And A Pure Heart
Last night as my family and I were having our family prayer time, we started off by washing our hands with Hyssop anointing oil. Then read Psalm 24:1-6 followed by Psalm 51:7-12.
We then partook in having communion together with a prayer of repentance and forgiveness as we focussed on the bread and grape juice representing the flesh of Jesus - that by His stripes we are healed and His Blood that atoned for our sins. After having communion, while praying, I saw a vision of Jesus nailed to The Cross. He was nailed to the Cross as The Word who became the words of accussations spoken over us. He became the written warrant of arrest nailed to a pole for public display, in the same way He was nailed to The Cross of Calvary. Then when His Blood flowed from His Head down to His Feet and the ground, it was this Blood that covered all the words written on the legal warrant of arrest that was actually meant for us. These words which carried our verdict for death, was now being washed with the Blood of The Spotless Lamb. These words were now being silenced by The Blood of Yeshua Messiah as our High Priest, covering all of our sins from the past, present and future and cancelling the arrest warrant for our eternal death. In John 20:17, when Mary saw Jesus in the garden at His Resurrection, she could not touch Him, for He has not yet presented Himself to the Father. That is because He was now the written verdict and had to go and present this notice to Abba Father, to clear our records in the Courts of Heaven, saying “not guilty”. Setting us free and giving us the gift of eternal life in Him.
This reminded me of the scripture in Colossians 2:14-15 in The Passion Translation,
14 He canceled out every legal violation we had on our record and the old arrest warrant that stood to indict us. He erased it all—our sins, our stained soul—He deleted it all and they cannot be retrieved! Everything we once were in Adam has been placed onto His cross and nailed permanently there as a public display of cancellation. 15 Then Jesus made a public spectacle of all the powers and principalities of darkness, stripping away from them every weapon and all their spiritual authority and power to accuse us. And by the power of the cross, Jesus led them around as prisoners in a procession of triumph. He was not their prisoner; they were His!
Beloved, I want to encourage you today to turn your hearts back to your First Love, Jesus Christ Who died for your sins (John 3:16). Repent of all your sins even the pet sins we tend to cover up and hide from others. We are in a season of being cleansed from the worldliness and all its idols. To be restored to God’s orginal intent for our lives as per His Redemption plan for mankind. Jesus is not looking for your religious works, He is looking to have an intimate relationship with you. He wants to be your First and your Last. He is inviting you to know Him as your Friend and He to know you as His friend. All you need to do, is to lay down your life for Him and give Him your yes. Be obedient to His voice and to love Him with all your heart, your soul and your mind, following Him and His Ways.
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:8-10 NKJV)
Prayer
Abba Father, I come before You through Your Son Jesus. Who is The Way, The Truth and The Life. Father, I thank You for the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary, Who died for my sins of the past, present and future. I repent of all the ways I have sinned against You and against others. I believe that Jesus went into the grave and paid with His Blood for my misdeeds and when the payment was made in full, He was resurrected into the heavenlies. I accept Him now as my Saviour and Lord. Thank You for saving me. I open my heart, surrender my own will to You Father and ask that in Your Grace and Mercy, You would fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I need Your Spirit so that I can continue to walk in a way that is pleasing to You. I thank You for bestowing Him upon me. In Jesus Name. Amen

Psalms 24:1-6 NKJV
The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein. For He has founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the waters. Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord , And righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face. Selah
Psalms 51:7-12 NKJV
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me hear joy and gladness, That the bones You have broken may rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
Colossians 1:20 TPT
And by the blood of his cross, everything in heaven and earth is brought back to himself— back to its original intent, restored to innocence again !
Romans 5:15-18 TPT
Now, there is no comparison between Adam’s transgression and the gracious gift that we experience. For the magnitude of the gift far outweighs the crime . It’s true that many died because of one man’s transgression, but how much greater will God’s grace and his gracious gift of acceptance overflow to many because of what one Man, Jesus, the Messiah, did for us! And this free-flowing gift imparts to us much more than what was given to us through the one who sinned. For because of one transgression, we are all facing a death sentence with a verdict of “Guilty!” But this gracious gift leaves us free from our many failures and brings us into the perfect righteousness of God—acquitted with the words “Not guilty!” Death once held us in its grip, and by the blunder of one man, death reigned as king over humanity. But now, how much more are we held in the grip of grace and continue reigning as kings in life, enjoying our regal freedom through the gift of perfect righteousness in the one and only Jesus, the Messiah! In other words, just as condemnation came upon all people through one transgression, so through one righteous act of Jesus’ sacrifice , the perfect righteousness that makes us right with God and leads us to a victorious life now available to all.
Amen
