A Prophetic Word for 5783 (2023) and Beyond
Haggai 2:5-9 NKJV
5 ‘According to the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt,
so My Spirit remains among you; do not fear!’
6 “For thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while)
I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land;
7 and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations,
and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts.
8 ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts.
9 ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts.
‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.”

In part 1 of the word, we looked at REPENTANCE and the call for the Body of Christ to walk in daily repentance not just from personal sins, generational from our family bloodlines and the sins of this nation; however we also have a commission to bring REFORMATION to the seven mountains (or pillars) of society according to God’s original design for humankind.
Beloved, YOU are the solution to the problems we are facing in this world. YOU have been sent to this earth with a Divine Purpose to bring Heaven to earth with the blueprints that have already been coded into YOUR DNA. God chose your gifts, talents, personality, gender and nationality; every intricate detail of your being; with a specific purpose for His Divine Plan. There is no one else on this planet like you – YOU ARE AN ORIGINAL. You are God’s masterpiece and He has CHOSEN YOU before the foundations of this earth was laid with the intention of displaying His image and walking in His likeness on this earth. That is His Original Design and intent for the human race. We are called to surrender fully to His Will and His Ways for our lives and to fulfil the Divine Plan that He has ordained for each one of us to accomplish.
HIS EVERLASTING COVENANT
Haggai 2:5 (NKJV)
‘According to the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt,
so My Spirit remains among you; do not fear!’
In the second part of this prophetic word, we will look at the word “covenant”.
We read throughout the Bible that God has established His Covenant with His People starting in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve where He blessed them to be fruitful, to multiply and have dominion over every living creature. Adam and Eve disobeyed God’s commandment by eating the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, causing them to break their covenant with God. This act of their will of unsurrendered hearts to God’s Will for their lives, caused a ripple effect throughout human history; however paving a way for the Ultimate Redemption Plan of Jesus the Messiah who as the Last Adam, came to redeem the sins of the First Adam.
In Genesis 9 God established His covenant with Noah, his descendants and every living creature that was with him on the ark…
11 “Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.”
12 And God said: “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
13 “I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between
Me and the earth.
14 “It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud;
15 “and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.
16 “The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.”
17 And God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth.”
Let’s look at the meaning of the word “covenant”…
Dictionary: “A covenant is a relationship between two partners who make binding promises to each other and work together to reach a common goal. They're often accompanied by oaths, signs, and ceremonies. Covenants define obligations and commitments, but they are different from a contract because they are relational and personal e.g. marriage”
Hebrew meaning: בְּרִית bĕriyth for "covenant" is from a root with the sense of "cutting", because pacts or covenants were made by passing between cut pieces of flesh of an animal sacrifice.
The rainbow has been established as a sign of God’s covenant with Noah, his descendants and every living creature on earth. The rainbow is a reminder to God of His promises of the covenant He has made with Noah as we read in Genesis 9. However for a covenant to be binding, it means that BOTH parties has made a promise to each other to abide in the agreement made by working together to reach the common goal.
Psalms 89:34 NKJV
“My covenant I will not break, Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.”
Hebrews 10:23 TPT
“So now wrap your heart tightly around the hope that lives within us, knowing that
God always keeps His promises!”
God is the Covenant-Keeper and He has promised throughout His word to keep His promises. He is always faithful to His word which is everlasting. We still witness today the rainbow appearing in the sky after the rain and so will the generations after us.
The question is, are we keeping our side of the covenant?
A perfect rainbow displays as a full circle rainbow from the sky depending on where you are standing. We only see the half circle “bow” as the horizon blocks the full view of the ring-circled rainbow.
Click on the link to read more as explained by Earthsky.In both accounts as we read in the chapters of Ezekiel and Revelation, both Ezekiel and John had encounters were they experienced seeing the Father seated on the Throne and used the rainbow to describe the Glory surrounding the Throne.
Ezekiel 1:28 (Amplified Bible)
“As the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory and brilliance of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell face downward and I heard a voice of One speaking.”
Revelation 4:3 (Amplified Bible)
“And He who sat there appeared like [the crystalline sparkle of] a jasper stone and [the fiery redness of] a sardius stone, and encircling the throne there was a rainbow that looked like
[the colour of an] emerald.”
The RAINBOW is very much visible in the Throne Room of heaven just as it is on the earth. The circular rainbow can only be seen at the right conditions.
We see from earth the “bow” in the sky and God sees from heaven the “bow” on the earth. An everlasting symbol of REMEMBRANCE to BOTH God and mankind and every living creature, to keep the covenant as made with Noah in Genesis 9.
God established a BETTER covenant with us when He sent His Son Jesus, the Last Adam, to this earth as a sacrifice by redeeming us from our sins caused by the fall of the First Adam in the Garden of Eden. This is the NEW COVENANT that came into effect when Jesus died on the Cross of Calvary as a sacrifice and through His Blood we have been redeemed making a way for us to have salvation in Him with an inheritance of…
• having a personal relationship with Elohim as Father, Son, Holy Spirit
• that He remembers our sins no more
• having an eternal life with the Father
Receiving the fullness of what Jesus paid for on the Cross
Being co-heirs with Jesus sharing in His inheritance and legacy
He made a way for us to keep our side of the covenant with His Blood that speaks for us on the Mercy Seat in Heaven on condition that we obey His Word by living in righteousness, holiness, being set apart for His good works in and through us - doing this in remembrance of Jesus Messiah.
Hebrews 8:6 TPT
But now Jesus the Messiah has accepted a priestly ministry which far surpasses theirs, since He is the catalyst of a better covenant which contains far more wonderful promises!
Hebrews 8:10-13 TPT
10 For here is the covenant I will one day establish with the people of Israel: I will embed My laws within their thoughts and fasten them onto their hearts. I will be their loyal God
and they will be My loyal people.
11 And the result of this will be that everyone will know Me as Lord! There will be no need at all to teach their fellow-citizens or brothers by saying, ‘You should know Yahweh,’ since everyone will know Me inwardly, from the most unlikely to the most distinguished.
12 For I will demonstrate My mercy to them and will forgive their evil deeds,
and never remember again their sins.”
13 This proves that by establishing this new covenant the first is now obsolete,
ready to expire, and about to disappear.
God has set His Rainbow in the clouds as an eternal promise of His Promises and who He is as the Promise-Keeper. We will be seeing more of the rainbow being displayed in the sky as a symbol of Who God is to His children – the symbol of REMEMBRANCE. Watch out for extreme demonstrations of God’s magnificent displays of His Rainbow. Keep your cameras ready as we have already started seeing these phenomena happening in the sky and there will be more to witness in the days to come.
The enemy has gone out of his way to counterfeit and corrupt the things of God – the very things that God has created. The enemy cannot create, he is a copycat and uses God’s creation by copying and defiling it with his evil ways and intentions. The rainbow does not belong to the LGBTQ+ community. The enemy is using a distorted version to misrepresent and mislead many astray with his evil indoctrination and deceitful lies of God’s symbol of covenant.
But as the sons and daughters of Abba Father, we celebrate the rainbow in the seven colours that represents the seven Spirits of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2). We keep our promise to be fruitful and to multiply as sons and daughters of Abba Father. We reflect His rainbow back to Him, by keeping covenant with Him. Staying in His presence as our First Love; by walking in daily repentance; listening to His Voice; trusting His leading and obeying Him in all our ways.
As spiritual beings, we walk in the flow of the seven-fold Spirt of God (Isaiah 11:2), in purity and holiness for only then can His Light shine through us and reflect the seven colours of the rainbow back to Abba Father in Heaven.
The more we abide in Him (John 15) and are being cleansed by the washing of water of His Word (Ephesians 5:26), the more brighter His Light can shine through us to reflect clearly the seven colours (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet) of His Seven Spirits (Holy Spirit) through us to Him. We remember to keep His covenant with Him as He remembers to keep His covenant with us.
Beloved, stand strong in the days of trouble and do not be afraid for the Spirit of the Lord is with us. We serve a Covenant-Keeping God and He is not a man that He should lie. As His sons and daughters, we stand on His Word and with feroucious faith, proclaim the truth of the word of God. We celebrate life for God is Life. We walk in love for God is Love and we shine our lights in to this dark world for God is Light.
The Bride of Christ is the city on the hill that cannot be hidden anymore. She is arising to shine His Light even brighter than before. Darkness will no longer be dominant on the earth as she shines the Radiant Glory of the Seven Spirits of the Lord with pure brightness: The Spirit of the Lord, the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding, the Spirit of Counsel and Might, the Spirit of Knowledge and the Fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2). Exposing everything that is evil and hidden from the eye and bringing forth the very promises of Heaven that she has been called to do on this earth.
Ruling and Reigning in heavenly places with her Bridegroom-King Jesus Yeshua with His authority in the power of Holy Spirit, to establish His Kingdom on this earth. She walks victoriously in His Divine Purpose and taking ground for His Kingdom with the redemption plan that He has paid for with His Precious Blood, for all humanity - His Title Deed for the Earth belongs to Him. She does this in REMEMBRANCE OF HIM as the Covenant-Keeping Bride of Christ. Ruling and reigning with the anointing to occupy until He returns for her.
Prophetic Declaration over South Africa based on Isaiah 60.

Arise, shine South Africa; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.
South Africa arise and shine as the Rainbow Nation of Yahweh. This is your true identity and your redemptive purpose as per God’s original design for you South Africa.
Repent by turning away from the idols and the wicked ways of this world. Come out of bondage of Egypt. Come out of Babylon and her unrighteous ways. Return to your First Love and remember the covenant that was made between you and Yahweh.
South Africa belongs to the Lord and the fullness thereof. She walks in righteousness, purity and holiness. She walks in the Blood Covenant of Jesus Messiah, for only His Blood can redeem our land and our nation. Only His Blood can cleanse our land from the blood river flowing since the foundation of our nation.
Thank You Jesus Messiah that Your Blood has redeemed our land, bringing a recompense through the flowing of the River of Life through our land. Your River of Blood brings renewal, revival, fruitfulness and blessings to our nation and to the continent of Africa. Thank You Jesus that from this day forth, the red colour on our flag will represent Your River of Blood redeeming our land with only the sound of Your Voice echoing from the Mercy Seat in Heaven, "Redeemed!". Thank You that the colour blue now represents Your River of Water cleansing our land with Your Word of Life in Abundance.
South Africa, you have the Menorah (Lampstand) on your land standing under the covering protection of Jehovah Nissi, the Lord is our Banner with each of the four poles being guarded by the hosts of heaven. Turn back to your First Love and live in the habitation of His Glory. His presence flows from intimacy in the secret place under the Covering of His Banner that is Love. Come and fill your lamp with His Holy Anointing Oil and ignite your lamp with His All Consuming Fire. Surrender to the Will and the Ways of the Lord. Walk in your true identity South Africa and fulfill your purpose by shining the seven colours of the Rainbow – the seven-fold Spirit of the Lord, to the seven mountains of society and the nations of the world.
Arise and shine for your Light has come Rainbow Nation and the Glory of the Lord is risen upon you. Shine your light in to the seven mountains of our society and bring forth the reformation of King Jesus’ Redeeming Love on earth as it is in Heaven. Evicting darkness and bringing His Light by occupying in the authority of Jesus Christ our King of Glory.
The Mountain of Family, we bless every family unit in this nation to experience Abba Father's Love as Strength bringing reconciliation and restoring Godly order in marriages and families. Standing on the word of Joshua 24:15 "as for me and my house we will serve the Lord".
The Mountain of Religion, we bless the Church with God as her Redeemer. We proclaim Colosisans 1:18-20 (Amplified)
"He is also the head [the life-source and leader] of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will occupy the first place [He will stand supreme and be preeminent] in everything. For it pleased the Father for all the fullness [of deity—the sum total of His essence, all His perfection, powers, and attributes] to dwell [permanently] in Him (the Son), and through [the intervention of] the Son to reconcile all things to Himself, making peace [with believers] through the blood of His cross; through Him, [I say,] whether things on earth or things in heaven."
The Mountain of Government, we bless our government with God as King. To lead our nation without corruption but choosing to serve and protect the people of this nation with integrity and excellence.
We proclaim Isaiah 9:6 (NKJV) "For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
The Mountain of Education, we bless with God as Teacher displaying His Love as Wisdom to the nation, growing in His Knowledge and Understanding. We proclaim Proverbs 22:6 (NKJV)
"Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it."
The Mountain of Economy, we bless with God as Provider, displaying His Love as riches. Expressing as the abundance of resources through our economy. We proclaim Haggai 2:8 (NKJV) "The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts."
The Mountain of Media, we bless with God as Communicator displayed by His Love as a blessing. We proclaim Isaiah 52:7 (NKJV) "How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”"
The Mountain of Arts and Entertainment , we bless with God as Creator displaying His Glory of creativity through humanity, His children made in His image and likeness. We proclaim Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) "For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."
South Africa, your destiny is to steward well in governance the abundance of the sea and the wealth of this land – gold, silver, diamonds and natural minerals that is yet still to be discovered. Nurture the ground of this land in righteousness to produce fruitful crops. Oversee and develop the emerging and hidden resources of knowledge that will be discovered in your land as they have been blessed with wisdom from above for the pure reason of inventions with new ideas of doing and new ways of bringing solutions. They are called to create with God and implementing His blueprints in the nation and continent according to His original designed plan.
South Africa, we bless you for you are a blessed nation to be a blessing to your continent and the continents of the world. South Africa we call you blessed. We bless our land, our soil, our water and the sky above with purity, fruitfulness and abundance. We bless the fauna and the flora of our land to be fruitful and to multiply in purity. We bless our children and the generations to come to be fruitful and to multiply in purity, righteousness and holiness. We bless you, our nation of South Africa with Shalom Peace and Fullness of Life.
We bless this nation with wealth of knowledge, resources and creativity flowing in Your seven-fold Spirit as Your Rainbow Nation, burning Your Menorah with the Holy Anointing Oil of Intimacy. We bless you South Africa as a Sheep Nation in Covenant with Yahweh, obeying His Voice and walking in His Ways.
Arise and Shine South Africa, Rainbow Nation of Yahweh, for your Light has come and the Glory of the Lord is risen upon you. Amen
