Grace Upon Grace

John 1:16 (AMP) "For out of His fullness [the superabundance of His grace and truth]  we have all received grace upon grace  [spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing, favor upon favor, and gift heaped upon gift]." The 2nd of October 2024 ushered in the new Hebraic year of 5785 celebrating the Biblical Feast of  Yom Teruah  also known as the Feast of Trumpets or Rosh Hashanah or Head of the Year or the Memorial of Blasting. This new year has many significant meanings when looking at the numbers of 5785 .  As you are aware, each letter of the Hebrew alphabet has a pictograph, number and a phonetic meaning. And this year, the number 5 is at the beginning as well as the end. When adding 5+7+8+5 it equals to 25 giving us the multiplication of 5x5 . Next year on the Gregorian calendar, we will be in the year 2025 . The number 5 is being highlighted and with much reason for we in the year of GRACE UPON GRACE . Feast of Shavuot or Pentecost : Feasting At His Table

Image
Taste and see that the Lord is good. Psalm 34:8 Today on the Biblical calendar, the 6th of Sivan 5784 (12 June 2024) marks the 50th day from the Feast of First Fruits or the Day of Jesus' Resurrection. This is the Feast of Shavuot or the Feast of Weeks widely known as Pentecost. You can read more about this feast in the post  From Agreement To Multiplication . On this 50th day, we read in the Old Testament in Exodus 19 and 20 where God gave His Word, the Torah, to Moses and the Israelites. In the New Testament, in Acts chapters 1 and 2, those who waited in one accord received the gift of baptism of the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues.   The Word (Torah) reveals God the Father to us through His written word. On Pentecost, the Church was born and received the gift of the Holy Spirit who dwells in us comes upon us and works through us, to give us revelation on the word of God and convicts us when we are not living according to His word.   Since then...

Passover 7: The Cup of Praise

Image
‭Psalms 103:1-5 AMP‬ [1] Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul, And all that is [deep] within me, bless His holy name. [2] Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul, And do not forget any of His benefits; [3] Who forgives all your sins, Who heals all your diseases; [4] Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you [lavishly] with lovingkindness and tender mercy; [5] Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the [soaring] eagle. The fourth cup at the seder meal, is the Cup of Praise or also known as the Cup of Restoration. Our response for what Jesus has done for us, is to praise Him. We worship Him through our praise and thanksgiving. We honour Him by living a life sacrificed unto Him. We love Him by being obedient to His Word. We glorify Him in our testimonies. We lay down our life for Him as our Saviour. We give Him the ownership to rule and reign within our soul, heart, mind, emotions and will as Lord over our lives. ...

Passover 6: The Cup of Redemption

Image
The Table by Chris Tomlin ‭Psalms 23:5 NLT‬ [5] You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies.  You honor me by anointing my head with oil.  My cup overflows with blessings. ‭Kosi R'vayah is the hebrew translation and meaning for "my cup is saturated" in Psalm 23:5 for "my cup overflows with blessing". "In Hebrew, the text is, “כּוֹסִי רְוָיָֽה” (kosi revaya); “Kosi” means ‘my cup’; however, I believe that translating the word “revaya” to “overflowing” doesn’t do the word justice. This word has a greater depth to it, and therefore, in my opinion, the word “saturated” is a better choice" (hope4israel.org). Luke 22:14-20 NLT‬ [14] When the time came, Jesus and the apostles sat down together at the table. [15] Jesus said, “I have been very eager to eat this Passover meal with you before my suffering begins. [16] For I tell you now that I won’t eat this meal again until its meaning is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God.” [17] Then he took a cup of ...

Passover 5: Cup of Deliverance

‭‭‭John 8:36 AMP‬ So if the Son makes you free, then you are unquestionably free. I'm No Longer a Slave to Fear by Bethel Worship Song of Deliverance by Zack Williams Galatians 5:1 AMP‬ It was for this freedom that Christ set us free [completely liberating us]; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery [which you once removed]. ‭Acts 5:31 AMP‬ [31] God exalted Him to His right hand as Prince and Savior and Deliverer, in order to grant repentance to Israel, and [to grant] forgiveness of sins. Prayer for Salvation Lord Jesus, I want to become a follower of Yours. I come to You acknowledging that I am a sinner. I know that I cannot make myself acceptable to God through my own efforts. I believe You went to the cross to be judged in my place. I trust You to save me from the judgment I deserve. I trust You to give me a new life. I believe that You are the only one who can give me eternal life and true communion with God. Give me the free gift of Your...

Passover 1 : Redeemed By The Blood Of The Firstborn

Image
Worship Song:  I Plead The Blood Of Jesus by Cody Carnes From Genesis to Revelation, we read of the firstborn and in many instances the battle over their lives and the destiny of their birthrights. In Genesis, Adam and Eve the firstborn of the human race sold their birthright to satan when they chose to disobey God's command of not eating from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.   Abraham and Sarah disobeyed God by following Plan B instead of waiting for the birthing of the promise that He gave them of having their own son, Isaac. In Exodus, God told Moses to tell Pharaoh, "Israel is My son, My firstborn. So I say to you, 'Let My son go so that he may serve Me'; and if you refuse to let him go, behold, I will kill your son, your firstborn."  The firstborn belongs to God and He had a plan from the beginning to restore the birthright of His children, by sending His Only Son Jesus to be a sacrifice for the sins of the world so that we can have eternal life wi...

Passover 2: I Am The Living Bread

Image
John 6:51 I am the Living Bread that came down out of heaven.  If anyone eats of this Bread [believes in Me, accepts Me as Savior], he will live forever.  And the Bread that I will give for the life of the world is My flesh (body).” Exodus 12:39 Amplified Bible "And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought from Egypt; it was not leavened, since they were driven [quickly] from Egypt and could not delay, nor had they prepared any food for themselves." I Am the Bread of Life and whoever eats from My flesh by believing in Me and accepting salvation in Me as their Messiah, will have eternal life in Me. I Am the Bread that came down from Heaven to feed My children the Truth of the Gospel of Peace .  The Israelites had to leave Egypt in haste with unleavened bread for there was not enough time for the bread to rise with yeast. The yeast symbolically speaks of My children leaving behind the things of Egypt that have bound them as slaves for 400 years. The leav...
